Product Description

Y-40 Stainless Steel Case Dial 40mm Bar Air Pressure Gauge Manometer

Vibration-Resistant Series Gauges are engineered for applications facing severe vibration, offering superior anti-vibration performance. The rugged, full-sealing design, filled with damping liquids, makes it particularly suitable for mechanical vibration and medium pulsation processes.

These gauges accurately measure the average value of pulsating gas and liquid pressure, preventing damage caused by strong medium pulses and environmental vibration to ensure reliable readings. Ideal for industries including petroleum, chemical processing, electric power, offshore mining, paper mills, and water treatment.

Measurement Principle

The gauge consists of a pressure guiding system (connections, measuring spring), gear drive system, indication device (pointer and dial), and casing. When the spring tube undergoes elastic deformation under pressure, the mechanism amplifies this movement, and the pointer indicates the value on the dial.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the advantage of a liquid-filled pressure gauge?
Liquid filling (Glycerin or Silicone Oil) dampens the effects of vibration and pressure spikes, lubricating the movement and extending the service life of the gauge in harsh environments.
What is the temperature range for these gauges?
With Glycerin filling, the ambient temperature range is -25°C to 70°C. For dry (non-filled) gauges, the range is -40°C to 70°C.
Are the internal parts resistant to corrosion?
Yes, the wetted parts, including the connection and the Bourdon tube, are made of high-quality 316 Stainless Steel, providing excellent resistance to many corrosive media.
What mounting directions are available for the Y-40 series?
We offer Bottom Connection (Radial), Back Connection (Axial), as well as variations with front/rear flanges or U-type brackets for panel mounting.
What is the protection class of these manometers?
The gauges are rated at IP66, meaning they are dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, making them suitable for outdoor and industrial use.
Can I get a custom thread size?
Standard sizes include 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" in NPT or PT, as well as metric M10, M14, and M20. Other custom threads are available upon request.
