Product Description

Paraffin gauze dressing is composed of paraffin, gauze, and release paper. Paraffin is an oil-insoluble substance that protects and isolates the wound. It prevents adhesion between the gauze and the wound bed, ensuring the wound moisture is maintained for a faster healing environment. This non-adherent dressing effectively supports all stages of wound healing without causing allergies.

Ideal for minor burns and wounds with superficial skin loss, this dressing soothes and protects while allowing drainage onto a secondary absorbent dressing. It is a proven treatment for donor and recipient skin grafts, leg ulcers, and skin loss wounds.

Instructions for Use

Clean the wound and surrounding area with sterile water or saline; dry gently.

Select the correct size and carefully open the sterile pouch.

Apply to wound; a secondary absorbent dressing is necessary to secure it.

Change daily for heavily exudative wounds, or every 3 days as healing proceeds.

Remove slowly. If the dressing sticks to a dry wound, soak with sterile saline first.
