Ultra-thin Hydrocolloid Dressing - Ready for Delivery
Hydrocolloid Dressing consists of a semipermeable polyurethane film coated with hydrocolloid containing carboxy-methylcellulose (CMC). A cohesive gel is produced when in contact with wound exudation to provide a moist wound healing environment.
These dressings provide a moist and insulating environment to promote wound healing. The inner layer of gel-forming agents absorbs exudate (water, white blood cells, and proteins), which allows for faster healing and reduced scar formation. The outside layer is waterproof, shielding the wound from bacteria, foreign bodies, and debris.

Why use Hydrocolloid?
Hydrocolloid dressings are made of elastic polymeric hydrogels, synthetic rubber, and adhesive materials. The most common gel is carboxymethyl cellulose. It can swell 12 times after absorbing exudate. Healing time with hydrocolloid dressings is about 40% shorter than traditional methods for specific wound types.
Cleanse the wound and dry surrounding skin.
Compare wound size; bandage should be 3/4" larger.
Peel off backing paper and place dressing.
Remove film and gently press for adhesion.
