Mud non-landing is a professional term for equipment suspension treatment, also known as equipment liquid non-landing. It refers to the use of specialized mud non-landing equipment to screen out suspensions in the equipment liquid. Common equipment includes drying screens, cuttings dryers, filter presses, water pump centrifuges, pipeline machines, and cuttings boxes.
Water-based System: Includes high-speed centrifuges, drying screens, hydraulic filters, screw conveyors, dosing units, and mud tanks.
Oil-based System: Includes high-speed centrifuges, cuttings dryers, dosing devices, screw conveyors, and cuttings bins.
For Water-based Mud: Mud is transported via manifold to the drying screen, then processed through a centrifuge. Recovered mud is reinjected into the circulation system, while solid waste is processed via a filter press and stored in cuttings boxes.
For Oil-based Mud: Drilling fluid is sent to the cuttings dryer followed by a centrifuge for refined processing. The final liquid is recycled, and the solid waste is safely contained.
